Marvel and Disney Tease Big News for Avengers: Doomsday
Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) are buzzing with excitement as Disney and Marvel appear to be hinting at something significant regarding the upcoming film Avengers: Doomsday. Many believe that the first trailer for the movie could be released soon, sparking a wave of speculation and anticipation among fans.
The latest clues came from Disney’s Latin America Instagram account, where new story posts generated a lot of attention. These posts, which disappear after 24 hours, were quickly snapped up by eagle-eyed fans who shared screenshots online. This has led to a frenzy of discussion and analysis within the Marvel community.
On November 26, the Disney+ LATAM account posted an image with the caption “the world is getting ready for a new event.” The image was a screenshot from the mid-credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, showing Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom meeting Franklin Richards, the son of Reed Richards and Sue Storm. This connection has raised eyebrows and sparked theories about how this might tie into Avengers: Doomsday.
A day later, the Brazilian accounts for Marvel and Disney+ shared another clue. This time, it was a screenshot from the post-credits scene of Thunderbolts, featuring a zoomed-in shot of The Fantastic Four’s spaceship. The accompanying caption read, “They’ve already started preparing for the meeting… and you, what’s your theory?” This added fuel to the fire, with fans trying to piece together the potential implications of these hints.
While neither post explicitly states that the trailer for Doomsday is imminent, the fact that Disney and Marvel are teasing something related to the Marvel Phase 6 movie has many fans excited. The timing also seems significant, as the Brazil Comic-Con (CCXP) 2025 is set to take place from December 4 to 7. This event is known for big announcements and reveals, making it a prime location for any major news about the film.
However, some fans are questioning why Marvel would unveil the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday at CCXP instead of waiting for San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in 2026. After all, SDCC is typically the go-to event for major Marvel Studios announcements. That said, the timing could still work in favor of a CCXP reveal, especially if it’s tied to the release of Avatar 3.

When Might the First Trailer Be Released?
There are indications that a teaser for Avengers: Doomsday could arrive before the end of 2025. In October, rumors circulated that the teaser would be shown ahead of public screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash, Disney’s final big movie release of the year. While some initially doubted the authenticity of the rumor, a subsequent report suggested that the first trailer would indeed be released before the end of 2025.
This speculation was further fueled by X/Twitter user Cryptic4Qual, an industry insider whose track record is mixed but often reliable. They mentioned that “some people might get an even earlier look” at the trailer, referencing a particular Sunday event in December. This has led to increased excitement and anticipation among fans.
Despite this, Cryptic4Qual admitted that they didn’t expect the trailer to premiere at CCXP 2025. However, with various Disney and Marvel LATAM social media channels teasing something about Doomsday, fans are more convinced than ever that a trailer will be unveiled soon.
If the trailer is shown at CCXP 2025, it may not be released publicly until a day or two after December 7. Disney will likely want to drive attendance for Avatar 3, and showing Doomsday‘s first teaser ahead of it could be a strategic move. The trailer is expected to land online sometime after December 19, the release date of Avatar 3.
Of course, if the teaser leaks online after CCXP 2025, Marvel and Disney could choose to release it earlier. It remains to be seen whether the trailer will debut at CCXP or if it will make its way online sooner than expected.
While we wait for more information, fans can continue to follow updates and discussions about Avengers: Doomsday as more details emerge.
