John Glenn vs. Midland: A New Beginning
In the season opener for John Glenn, the Bobcats secured a 66-46 victory over Midland. This win marked a significant milestone for Derrek Clyde, who took over as head coach after his father, Dale Clyde, stepped down. Derrek now holds a 1-0 record, while his father previously had a 211-192 record over 19 seasons.
Senior Danzell Calhoun led the charge with a standout performance, scoring 27 points. His efforts were complemented by contributions from Che Arocha, Dylan Wood, and Caleb Seafert. Jacoby Lind was the top scorer for Midland with 14 points.
